Within close proximity to many beautiful beaches such as Bamburgh with its fine castle and the delightful Holy Island of Lindisfarne, we provide an excellent base for exploring the area.  The local towns of Alnwick, with its historic castle and gardens, and Berwick, are just a short journey away.  We are surrounded by beautiful countryside which can be viewed by foot on the many walks available, or by bicycle as the coastal cycle route passes our door.  In the distance one can see the spectacular Cheviot Hills and for bird watchers there are numerous opportunities to view the many species of seabird, perhaps with a boat trip to the Farne Islands.
